    Collapse overview
Dr. Barsevick has published with the Genetics and Quality of Life Consortium, an international group that aims to develop the science of genetic influences on cancer-related symptoms.

A highlight of 2013 was serving as the guest editor of the journal, Current Opinion in Supportive and Palliative Care, for the issue focused on Symptom Clusters.

An ongoing activity of significance is her membership on the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Steering Committee on Symptoms and Quality of Life, a national group that guides and evaluates clinical protocols for symptom management and quality of life (2009-2015). In April 2010, she was selected to co-chair a NCI Clinical Trials Planning Meeting on cancer-related fatigue.

Dr. Barsevick is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (2009).

She has been a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)guidelines panel on cancer-related fatigue (1999-2012).

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication.
