    Dr. Nei is actively involved in patient education and speaks on a regular basis at education seminars for the Epilepsy Foundation of America. She is also interested in medical education and regularly mentors medical students, residents, and fellows in neurology. She has been an invited speaker on various topics of epilepsy at local, regional, and national meetings.

    She has served as peer reviewer for several journals, including Neurology, Neurology Clinical Practice, Lancet Neurology, Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Epilepsia, Epilepsy Research, Epilepsy and Behavior, Seizure, Pediatrics, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, and Archives of Rehabilitation Medicine.

    She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Neurology and Neurophysiology, International Neuropsychiatric Disease Journal, and the Journal of Neurology and Translational Neuroscience.
