Lysergic Acid Diethylamide
"Lysergic Acid Diethylamide" is a descriptor in the National Library of Medicine's controlled vocabulary thesaurus,
MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). Descriptors are arranged in a hierarchical structure,

Semisynthetic derivative of ergot (Claviceps purpurea). It is a potent hallucinogen, but the mechanisms of that effect are not well understood.
